October 10, 2024UH HOSPITALS AND CLINICSI recently had an aortic valve replacement and aortic aneurysm repair performed by Dr. Vikas Sharma. I was very nervous going in to the procedure but was calmed by Dr. Sharma's calm, self assured demeanor. Post surgery, I feel like I had the right surgeon for the job. Dr. Sharma's bedside/doctor patient manner is impeccable. In every meeting with Dr. Sharma I could tell he was considerate, thoughtful, and concerned without appearing ego driven or over bearing. Any way you look at it, Dr. Sharma rates 5/5 stars on whatever scale you use.

The procedure he performed was done with such skill that i have not needed any pain medication for my recovery from five days after the surgery. A very kind and caring person. Thank you.
