The Pediatric Comprehensive Care clinic is within the division of Pediatric Complex Care.

Our comprehensive care program helps children between the ages of 0 and 21 with medical complexity. Medical complexity is defined by having more than three organ systems affected and greater than three physicians involved in their care. Children with medical complexity may experience medical fragility with frequent and/or prolonged hospitalizations. They may also have technology-dependencies (including ventilators, tracheostomies, feeding tubes, intrathecal baclofen pumps, or others).

Our patients have complex chronic conditions related to various conditions:

What is Comprehensive Care?

Children with medical complexity are a small segment of the pediatric population.  They have higher than typical medical needs. They are more likely to be hospitalized or go to the emergency room. Because of their specialized needs, they need a team that is familiar with their complex medical care. Our comprehensive care team works with your pediatrician and your child’s subspecialists to help you get the right care at the right time for your child.

My Health

is a secure and easy way to keep track of your health history, providing access to your lab results, prescriptions, and vital health information.

Our inpatient services include Inpatient consultation for children with complex management and disposition issues.
