Simplifying Men's Health: Real Talk and Real Solutions
Men's health is often sidelined or treated as an afterthought—a subject many avoid discussing. But staying healthy does not have to mean endless gym routines or overwhelming changes. It is about building habits that fit into your life. This podcast breaks it down, offering straightforward, sustainable ways to take control of your health.
We are here to challenge the stereotype that men do not care about their well-being. Health should be empowering, not intimidating. From physical fitness and mental resilience to preventive care and everyday challenges, we tackle it all with practical advice, expert insights, and a sense of humor.

Whether you are looking for motivation, helpful tips, or just a good laugh, this podcast is here to help you take charge—one goal, one step, and one conversation at a time.
MEET THE GUYS
Scot Singpiel
Scot spent much of his life chasing an unrealistic physical ideal. Growing up as a self-conscious, skinny ranch kid, he didn't see himself as athletic—despite making it to nationals in roller hockey and holding his own in a high school swimming class against the school's top athlete. Back then, health meant building muscle and looking like Arnold Schwarzenegger. He bought all the muscle magazines, tracked every meal, and threw himself into weight training, believing bigger meant better.
But years of inconsistent effort led to a hard truth—despite all that work, no one could tell. Then a body fat analysis and creeping blood sugar levels revealed something more serious: he wasn't as healthy as he thought. That became a turning point. His new focus was about being healthy, not just looking the part.
Now, Scot's goal is maintaining strength, mobility, and happiness as he ages. Co-hosting Who Cares About Men's Health helped reframe his perspective. It's no longer about quick fixes—it's about long-term well-being and making sustainable changes. Scot loves digging into how society shapes the way men think about health, and on the podcast, he mixes curiosity, honest stories, and plenty of laughs to explore what wellness really means.

Mitch Sears
Producer Mitch didn't always believe he could take control of his health. As a former journalist and professor with a punk rock past, he approached wellness with a fair dose of skepticism. But through his work on the show and a stroke scare at 30, Mitch managed to quit smoking, get back into running, and improve his mental well-being. Now in his late thirties, he's all about helping other men navigate their health journeys—minus the clichés of "bro health" culture. For Mitch, personal wellness isn't one-size-fits-all; it's about finding what works for you.
When not talking about health, Mitch is a devoted movie buff. He loves the charm of bad horror movies and watching Kung Fu films with his dad. Mitch hopes that listeners can learn from his experiences—including the mistakes. His curiosity, humor, and personal growth offer a relatable perspective for anyone trying to find their own unique path to better health.
