Billing & Insurance

Workplace injuries are covered by the employers鈥 workers compensation insurance. 香蕉视频 of Utah Occupational Medicine accepts all workers compensation insurances.

Billing for Employer Requested Testing

We coordinate occupational health services through the employer requesting these services for their employees. We also directly bill employers for exam services, including labs and other testing.

Individuals may request exams on a self-pay basis.

Health Promotion

Our clinics offer a range of services to enhance the health and wellness of workers. These services include both comprehensive physicals (sometimes called Executive Health Exams) and basic health screenings (e.g., blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure). We schedule exams and arrange ancillary testing so that most of the exam requirements can be accomplished in one visit at one location whenever possible. Our wellness services may be billed directly to a requesting employer, or to individuals. Results of these exams are confidential and are not discussed with employers.

Advanced Consultations in Occupational Health

Case Management

Employee Health

Employee Health services protects workers from hazards that they may encounter at work. Our clinic provides employment-related immunizations, antibody titers, and tuberculosis testing.

Drug Testing

We perform employer requested urine DOT, NON-DOT, and oral swab chain-of-custody drug test collections on a scheduled or walk-in basis.  We perform drug test-only collections for employers who have their own Medical Review Officer to review test results, or we can facilitate medical review of the test results in conjunction with .

Employee Health and Drug Testing

Full-time case managers support injured workers through the workers鈥 compensation system. They track patient progress to minimize delays in care and reduce lost work time. Our case management team provides detailed information to help our customers minimize the overall cost of an injury.

Injury Care

Our medical providers author and apply state-of-the art occupational medical treatment guidelines for the care of injured workers. In nearly all cases, we facilitate return to work with minimal or no lost work time. Workers with new injuries can be seen on a scheduled or walk-in basis with appointments for follow-up care.

Work Physicals

A work physical evaluates a worker鈥檚 fitness to perform job duties in accordance with regulatory requirements or at an employer鈥檚 request. We directly bill employers for exam services, including labs and other testing. Individuals may request exams on a self-pay basis. All testing for most exams is completed during the same visit within either the Redwood Health Center or the South Jordan Health Center.
